Manufacturing

Unitcom Designed & Manufactured 100% Australia Made.- Intercom Entrance Panels- Rain-shielded Mounting Wall Boxes- Adaptors for covering old existing panel holes- Key-Switch Assemblies that integrated with Rainboxes or Plates.
We have been making custom intercom entrance panels for decades right here Sydney.
First models were originally machined and engraved solid aluminium plate with plastic press buttons, this easy outlasted standard version of its day, with many still being used.
Today the whole range is 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel solid plate that is Laser cut and the laser etched numbers for maximum corrosion and vandal properties to ensure long lasting or the even newer ProBlast photopolymer resist sand blasting and paint filling process. Now in mass production to lower the price for our customers-
- Intercom Entrance Panels (Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel) Multiple Sizes and Formats
- Call Press Buttons (Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel)
- Our Integrated Key-switch Assemblies compatible with standard key or the bi-lock and even the new required EM Abloy meter reader's keys to allow access to only the meter-reader and not everyone else in the world with the older commonly found NMB keys. The stainless steel press buttons that are used are our own Design & Manufactured to perfect tolerances needed for reliability and able to last with no maintenance.
Once-upon-a-time we used to import these all press buttons from the UK, but now being made even better right here in Sydney.
Cheaper options that are imported are The Silver Metal Bodied call buttons. Fully imported from overseas to make the stainless entrance panels more affordable if the budget can't yet stretch for the Australian buttons these lower the price, allowing to step into the better entrance panels at a cheaper level, years later if needed or wanting to installed the better full stainless steel buttons this can be done.
We also make adaptors for genuine Comelit and Golmar equipment to adapt and fit in to the security panel range. Allowing multiple arrangements to be able suite budgets and wiring arrangements.
Unitcom was the Original sole importer of the Comelit and Selti brands for decades into Australia now being directly imported by the manufacture Comelit Melbourne. Unitcom is still the main Sydney installer and service agent of Comelit intercom equipment.
We have designed parts to be compatible with several OEM brand parts to enhance the products to the Australian climate and weather conditions.
We supply to contractors when the perfect systems are needed. We are on many Department of housing specifications sheets due to the durability of the parts made and the vandal resistant items.
With an evolving design department looking for ways to better the products to a quality and not just to a price.
Now also making specialised Mylar cone speakers for the competitor's system repairs, these are made to our design and specifications these speakers are imported. These outlast the original Germany parts again with ease, this surprised us too once.
